Business Studies

The Business Department was among the first departments to be formed when the Institute was officially opened in 2016 by H.E Excellency the President of the Republic of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta. The department has four sections, namely ;Supplies, Accounting and Community Development & Social work. The department trains people who graduate to work in lower level and middle levels of management in different sectors of the economy. The department has qualified lecturers who attend to their classes promptly. The department has reference materials for lecturers and students. Students are assisted to get placement for attachment during their training and also company visits for practical experience.

The department aims at introducing new courses and offering quality teaching and training to produce graduates who are competitive in the job market and be job creators in the competitive 21st Century.
